For someone who is just starting out on the Mixing and Mastering journey, the Cheat Sheet Binder is an absolute game changer. It focuses you on what is important, how to prioritize and where further study is required. This is a great resource and I highly recommend it.

A great cheat sheet to quickly reference things you need and then you can get right back to work. Love having pages quickly open, I really should print out a copy and put a binder next to my desk!

Nice binder on slick paper. Disappointed that the "Mixing & Mastering" cheat sheet binder didn't have anything in it about Mastering. Recommend renaming it Mixing Cheat Sheet Binder, or including some Mastering cheat sheets.

The overall plans for mixing and mastering were quite useful. I found the information on the qualitative nature of the different regions of EQ to be quite helpful. The information on compression could use more starting points (e.g. attack/release/ratio/knee settings to start with for voice, guitar, hand drums, drum set, etc.). Two omissions: balancing a mix in mono, and the use of saturation to bring out instruments/voices without changing the balance. Overall a very nice reference that I continue to return to.

This Cheat Sheet Binder is an excellent reference that guides you through the entire mix process, including a conceptual framework for mixing and applying processing tools that apply to any genre that you may be working on. It is a wonderful tool - particularly for those on the earlier part of their mixing journey, though there is a ton of useful information for more seasoned engineers as well. You will know that you have gotten the full benefit of the binder when you have internalized material and no longer need it, because by then, you mixes will have reached a level that goes beyond what you ever imagined possible.

The physical booklet is good and helpful, but the accompanying “how to” videos are not. The instructors seem to know the program thoroughly, but take it for granted that you also know the program thoroughly, which isn’t a great perspective for a teacher.

This binder is just what I needed to take my mixing an mastering to another level. It is super concise and easy to use. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn how to take their sound to the next level.

The cheat sheets are excellent as: (1) a checklist; (2) an aide memoire; (3) basic advice that can be refined in the specific project. Probably the best of its kind I've come across.

This is a really useful reference, although I wish it had EQ, Dynamic and Reverb and Delay setting suggestions for different instruments.

Wow. The Mixing and Mastering Cheat Sheet Binder is a lighthouse when navigating the deep blue sea of the mixing & mastering. So helpful!

It’s a bit of a gimmick to be honest and a cheeky upsell to get the full course. Having watched the videos I can see that it’s mainly younger people that don’t have much experience in actual studios and just repeating stuff that is already available free. Which is a shame the way the marketing is set up I was hoping that it would be a lot better than it was :(

I'm an Indie Artist and compose, write lyrics and sing but mixing/mastering was my weakness.I tried plugins by waves, tried auto mastering by diatrokid/landr/bandlab but wasn't getting the quality i needed. This is the mixing/mastering guide that finally helped me release pro sounding tracks. It starts from the basics, explains each concept step by step and is super in-depth. My heartfelt thanks for the Instructor who takes the time to explain everything in great detail. It will take me more practice to develop the ear for mixing/mastering but this guide is all i needed.

The handbook provides a great point of reference. The sections are easy to follow, making it palatable and motivating. The graphics are minimalistic, and easy on the eyes; direct. This publication lends itself to more questions, and for the passionate artist this is perfect. The question: how can I break the rules?!

I find it very useful especially after I did the webinar 3 day event. The webinar was very instructive and the cheat sheet binder refreshes the techniques I saw. Even without the webinar the sheets are very useful in helping to get a feel for mixing and mastering. Great product.

I enjoy looking back to the binder from time to time,to compare my style to this style and sometimes getting a little more insight on some things I may be missing. I also have yet to get my physical copy that I paid for.

I liked learning about compression. I haven't gotten into some of the details of the mixer.

It is exactly what you expect. An easy way to improve your sound. Regardless of your issue, it is simple to look up what is needed.

I got it with a Plugin Boutique purchase. I wasn't sure what to expect but it's thorough, well written, and easy to understand. I would put it as a early/mid-level skill level booklet. It doesn't get REALLY deep. Nothing like, "when using multiple instruments that are similar try these things." It does kind of save you time to just look at this instead of hunting down a video.

I like the layout. It is easy for understanding. It answers several questions which makes it simple or easy to follow.

This binder is not just a collection of dial-in tables, but a series of well thought out guidelines to consider when doing a complete project. It is only the surface of what is a very thorough learning series put out by Mastering.com. A sincere and dedicated group worth supporting!

I found this to be useful for quick reference. I believe this would be very handy for people newer to the industry. I have been recording since 1982 and still found value in this sheet.
