Activity - Chef Method

This is a big one.
Your next assignment is to implement the Chef Method in a mix.
For reference, the steps are:
[ml][ul][li indent=0 align=left]Step 1: Clean your tracks[/li][li indent=0 align=left]Step 2: Enhance your tracks[/li][li indent=0 align=left]Step 2.5: Balance your tracks[/li][li indent=0 align=left]Step 3: Balance your mix’s tone[/li][li indent=0 align=left]Step 4: Blend your instruments[/li][li indent=0 align=left]Step 5: Make your final tweak[/li][/ul][/ml]It's up to you what track you mix.
You can either use one of your own tracks or download one of the songs from the 'Mixing Secrets' Free Multitrack Library.
Now, this is important:
Don't spend too long on this assignment. The idea is to practice the WORKFLOW, not necessarily to do a whole mix.
Try limiting yourself to 10 minutes for each step of the Chef Method. That way, this assignment should only take you an hour.
Of course, if you have the time, feel free to do a whole mix! However, you have a full mix assignment at the end of the program, so it might be worth saving yourself for that.
